Which Career Earns More And Is More Enjoyable? Ultrasound Tech Or Physical Therapist?

I realize the two careers are very different and I have looked at both jobs extensively, including the school needed to get there, but I am at a standstill between the two. I’d love to hear from Ultrasound Techs and Physical Therapists to hear your take. I’ve looked up average salaries for both positions, but I know that it depends on where you work, what your specialty is, and how much experience you have. It seems that Physical Therapy requires more school (for a DPT) and pays about the same as an Ultrasound Tech. Opinions?

Which Is A Better Career? Physical Therapist? Occupational Therapist?

I’m very fickle about deciding once and for all on a major and everything. I’m fairly certain that I want to be in the health field, and I’m currently enrolled for Health and Sciences, which is broad and helps prepare for more schooling. I don’t know whether I’d like Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy more. Or even recreational Therapy. I’m just going by a career aptitude test I took a while ago, and all of those are listed.. along with Chiropractor. and others. I know nursing isn’t for me already. Anyone have some advice? I haven’t even been in a health setting really because I’ve never been sick with anything. BAH!

The college I want to go to offers no nursing, physical therapy, pre-med, pre-dental or any health related majors. What major could I have instead that would get me into the medical field?

What Is Good Career For Me To Go Into? I’m Deciding Between Becoming A Physical Therapist….?

What is good career for me to go into? I’m deciding between becoming a physical therapist, occupational therapist, and physician’s assistant. Does anyone know if getting a masters in physical therapy would be sufficient or is a doctorate going to be required soon? Is going into the health field a bad idea with the potential universal health care?
Thank you!

Distance Learning Offered For An Associate’s Degree As A Physical Therapist Assistant?

I am currently attending Tidewater Community College in Virginia. In about a year, I planned on applying for the Physical Therapy Assistant. It’s about 4 semesters long. However, none of the PTH classes are offered online and from past semesters it looks like the different courses that are required each semester seem to be only offered once per semester… So, if I take the classes in the outline that is required, my classes will be sporadic and I will absolutely have no time to continue my full-time work.
My question is,… are there any LEGIT universities which offer distance learning and Physical Therapy classes which would count towards the degree, online? I understand that towards the end of taking the required classes I will have to do clinicals, that is perfectly fine… however I am looking to see if there is a better option for me right now.
I attended ODU for one year, and TCC is much more suitable for me because it does offer many online classes, (just no PTH classes)… which is why I transferred (as a side note.)
Any information will be greatly appreciated.
And please do not mention Phoenix University… I personally know someone who was scammed through pursuing their education with this “company.”
