Question by h ♥☮: Will there be jobs in Russia for Physical Therapy, Nursing and Business?
I want to major in Physical therapy (7 years)or Nursing and Business(Administration and/or Management) as a minor
I’m in my first semester and have Liberal Arts As a major. When second semester comes I will know my major and minor and I plan on living in Russia after i get my degrees and manage a lifestyle for a few years in the U.S. Do You think there will be jobs available in Russia at the time? I’d say in about ten years.

Nursing Into Physical Therapy? Good Option?
Posted by admin in Careers in PT on March 1, 2010
I’ve been thinking about both professions and I really like both of them. I just want to know If i do go for a Bach. for nursing and perhaps try to apply for a grad school for physical therapy would be a good choice like a possible career path? I know I would need to take a couple of extra courses they require to be a PT but I would do it if I had to. I’m not sure but I would just get feedback on this.
How Do I Know If A Career In Nursing Is Right For Me?

I have been thinking about a career in nursing or physical therapy, but I’m not entirely certain whether or not I would be well suited for the job. I would prefer to be a teacher, but they just don’t get paid as much as they deserve. Serious answers only please.
Stress Level In Nursing?
My personality is set in the middle between a type A and B… however, I cant work under too much stress… I cant think very well when I am tired and stressed or under pressure… I am the type of person that needs my 8-9 hours of sleep in order to function properly… I am kinda low blooded as well and often lack energy… but I am also the type of person that looks at my watch all the time and plans ahead and I am very competitive. I take pride in my work and am a hardworker. Is nursing gonna be a problem for me? I was considering physical therapy because I’ve volunteered at hospitals and they have such a chilled job and is rather slow paced at a rehab hospital but still meaningful and exciting… I like that but I cant afford the education for PT… Is there a nursing job that is similar to physical therapy?? Is pediatric nursing a good area? What are the stressors in that specialization?

Nursing, Nurse Practitioner Or Physical Therapy?
I’m interested in both but cant decide which profession to jump into….right now it seems that nursing school is a little quicker and the least expensive but which one will be better in the long run….although the education is expensive i know that in the end of the pt program you become a doctor of physical therapy..will it make a difference…..is it equivelant to a nurse practitioner or vice versa?…what options do either profession have and which seems better in the long run even with salary?….anybody out there with answers would greatly be appreciated. its such a hard decision when you like both fields….i happen to be male too dont know if that makes a difference in either field.
What Can I Do With An Ekg Certification Besides Nursing?
I tried nursing but failed miserably so I got a health studies degree instead. I am a certified pharmacy technician at CVS.
So now I am wondering where to go from here. I am great with computers but I would prefer to stay on my feet and mobile. I will start the physical therapy assistant program in the fall and I am on the waiting list for radiology technologist which was what I really wanted to do. I have all of the prereq’s for both.
I am debating if I should take a fast ekg course and just wait for radiology instead. But I also run into the problem that the job market for rad techs is horrible. I love human anatomy and I am turning 23 this summer so I don’t want to wait forever for a decent job. Any advise would be great. Thank you!
