im wondering…… i am SO SCARED of when i get older because i have cystic fibrosis (was diagnosed at 8 months) and i am now 14. i have a fairly healthy life. in physical education in school im NEVER at the back if we have cross country. im more like at the top of the middle. the last time i was in hospital with a really bad cough was when i was about 9. i haven’t had any serious infections in a long time. i keep having antibiotics every 3 months. im never out of breath. i sometimes go through days without a little cough. even when i do, nothing comes up. more or less a dry cough. im just very scared when im older as people with cf haven’t got a long life-span. i don’t want to die young. how bad is my condition for cf? i hardly ever need physio therapy. i do well in sports. i ride horses A LOT and i am an advanced rider. i have my own horses. how bad is my condition?
