This question is for the people who work in the field of physical therapy assistant or occupational therapy assistant. Which career pays more and have more job needs? Also, feel free to offer some insight to either career.
Is Joining The Armed Forces The Army Better Then Being A Security Guard Or Radiology Tech?
I got a degree from ITT Tech As a CAD Drafter but the economy and that tech school was so bad I had no other option then to join the military my mos is 21 bravo I just don’t wanna follow my nephews and let them get the better of me the youngest is a security guard and the oldest is a radiology tech. My plan is to use the education of 21 bravo and be on the SWAT TEAM for the LAPD. And use the GI Bill go to college majoring in physical therapy. IM NOT GONNA LET MY NEPHEWS GET THE LAST LAUGH.

I’m very fickle about deciding once and for all on a major and everything. I’m fairly certain that I want to be in the health field, and I’m currently enrolled for Health and Sciences, which is broad and helps prepare for more schooling. I don’t know whether I’d like Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy more. Or even recreational Therapy. I’m just going by a career aptitude test I took a while ago, and all of those are listed.. along with Chiropractor. and others. I know nursing isn’t for me already. Anyone have some advice? I haven’t even been in a health setting really because I’ve never been sick with anything. BAH!

I want to look into school and was considering xray technician and later ultrasound. I really want to get into the medical community, but not to the extent or doctor or nurse, just a tech position. Lately I’ve been hearing a high demand for physical therapy techs as well. I want something that pays well but doesn’t require a lot of schooling. Maybe 2 or 4 yrs tops. but I also want something in high demand so my job hunt is a little easier after graduation!
