I tried nursing but failed miserably so I got a health studies degree instead. I am a certified pharmacy technician at CVS.
So now I am wondering where to go from here. I am great with computers but I would prefer to stay on my feet and mobile. I will start the physical therapy assistant program in the fall and I am on the waiting list for radiology technologist which was what I really wanted to do. I have all of the prereq’s for both.
I am debating if I should take a fast ekg course and just wait for radiology instead. But I also run into the problem that the job market for rad techs is horrible. I love human anatomy and I am turning 23 this summer so I don’t want to wait forever for a decent job. Any advise would be great. Thank you!

As an Xray Tech I worked for a mobile xray company. We were trained in EKG’s also and provided service to nursing homes and prisons etc. The mobile sector is always hiring Techs. Another avenue you could pursue is Sonography.
