I want to own my own physical therapy clinic and maybe expand later. I’m applying to DPT programs starting may ’09. How should I go about achieving this goal? Anyone with personal experience?

Physical Therapy Education Courses?
In receiving education to become a physical therapist, do you have to get your associates degree, then your bachelors, and after that your graduate degree (isn’t graduate optional having your DPT). I’m just trying to get all the facts straight as to what programs to take.
How Do Physical Therapy Clinics Do Marketing?
What is the close? What do you say to to doctors while you’re hosting an office lunch? How do you get them to refer based on patient quality treatment and not just insurance and location?

I am going to be a senior in high school and i don’t know what i want to do (which probably isn’t that abnormal). Physical Therapy has always interested me, but i still don’t know for sure. If i got my bachelors degree in something else, say mechanical engineering, would it be very difficult for me to change to physical therapy? Or could i just go to grad school for PT?

Is the physical therapy program just 3 years long? if not how long?
and is the only thing i need to do is get my basics, major in physical therapy then go to physical therapy program???
